Halloween 2008

Um, I don't think he's having too much fun this year.
His current costume:  gold jumpsuit with "OCJ" printed on it.
Who would have guessed?
A lot can change in a year.

I'm sorry. I hope he is on his way to a better place. I don't know if it helps to know, but you have made me stop so many times and appreciate the moments. I wish I could help you and your son more. Thank you for sharing. Hug.

WHOO those are some hot girls! and what a looker he is! I know this isn't what you would envision for your son's halloween holiday. For him whre he is, it is another day ho think and consider and hopefully reflect. As much that has changed in a year.... be hopeful for how much can change in this next year. I continue hoping for you both. I am going to email you (((((HUGS))))) big ones :)

Kay, thanks, he is a cutie. Never figured out where he got the dark hair since his father and I are both blond. Well come to think of it...Im probably NOT blond anymore :)

Midnight, girls did not look like that when I was that age! I grew up in the "no make-up, long straight hair" era. Thanks for the hugs, I feel them!

He is very good looking! My son is also, and that makes it easier for them to scam people, I think. They also have the personalities that makes them easy to "trust." I have seen my son talk people into all sorts of things (especially ME!).

Lou is right. I watched my brother do it for years. Now however, he is in his 50's and although still handsome, it's not as easy to scam people. He is basically doing odd jobs and living off of my parents. What a sad way for someone with so much potential to turn out. You never realize when you are young and using your looks and charm to get by, that they eventually fade and you are only left with yourself.

Lou and Lacey, I know what you mean I've been scammed by many charming good looking guys over the years....Keven has a very poor self image in spite of being attractive and attracting cute girls. He thinks he's ugly. Of course I think I am too and am told I am not but still see "ugly" in the mirror. My family has self esteem issues. I'm working on mine.

I like that you are changing too, in a positive way by keeping the focus on yourself and taking care of you. That is a good way to change.
