quick update

He's been sleeping for the last 13 hours so far.  We all slept.  I feel stronger and more "together" again.  My plan for today is to do take him to the beach and walk around in the fresh air, sunshine and ocean.  The ocean has a calming and healing affect on both of us.

As of tomorrow he will be homeless and have to choose his course of action, but until then, he's here getting loved on even when he's totally unlovable.  He fell asleep hugging me last night.  He's still a young boy inside.

Thanks for praying for us, no words can convey how much it means to me to have the support here.

Peace, Hope and Love, Barbara

You guys are on my mind constantly. Praying. Hoping. Trying to direct positive energy your way. Right now, you need it way more than I do. Much love to you and Keven. Try to keep the faith, Barbara. I know it's hard, but hang in there. xo

Oh good, I'm so glad he is sleeping. In my experience the sleeping can last for many hours and physically he may not be able to walk on the beach...getting to the car may be too much effort. Maybe not, but if thats the case, I would just let him sleep Barbara. I'm still praying Love.

To clarify: "Many," as in 48. Just up to go to the bathroom and get a sip of water and right back to bed.

Thanks, DDD and Annette. I'm keeping the faith and also praying he sleeps for a long time. Thanks for clarification Annette!

Love you, Barbara. My heart is breaking for you, Keven and your mom and sister. There aren't any "right" answers, you just do the best you can at the time. I'll be praying for & thinking about you.

Glad that you and the household, including Keven, are getting some much needed rest. Take care. We all love you No one knows what they would do until a situation arises. We just do the best that we can.

You have been through so much in such a short period of time. It went from good to bad so quickly! I am praying for peace for you and ALL of your family.

Been gone a couple days and catching up with you now Barbara. I have nothing wise to say or to add to what has already been said. Please be safe. I'll pray that heavenly Father will lift your heart, ease your worries, salve your wounds, and soften the pain of your loving mama. And I'll most fervently pray for Keven. He is worth loving and God does have a plan. May the plan appear soon. May you continue to be comforted by bloggy love. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Xoxo Kris B

Dear Barbara,

Thinking of you today as this is the day he meets with the PO.

As Anna said, thinking of you especially today; hoping that you will have some positive news, some positive suggestions from PO; or failing that, some peace.

Barbara,

I don't want to sound egotistical but this morning I hope you have a chance to read something I wrote a couple years ago.

Reading your experiences over the last several days there may be pieces in this that can help you. I know you have read it before and have it linked on your blog but I read it OFTEN when Alex was an issue and it kept me focused on my internal compass.

Regardless of the outcome - I'm sure today is/was a very tough day for you. I'm glad you were able to sleep, reenergize, and refocus. Praying you find peace somewhere amidst today's turmoil.

He is still a young boy inside, Barbara. Oh, how I wish there was something I could do for you. Sending love your way.
