Belated Mother's Day from My Son!

Wow.  I wasn't expecting this, and yes, I LOVE it.  He told me once he would never get anyone's name on his body.  Ever.  He didn't like that.  But I think he wanted to say, in a big way, how much he loves me.  I'm sitting here crying happy tears.  Its been a rough weekend but this is the perfect way to end it.

Oh, and my gut instinct was wrong:  he has NOT used.  Thank God!  But there is still a lot to be concerned about.  Thanks for caring about us.

Peace, Hope and Love, Barbara

It is his way of saying that he loves you. Sleep well and at peace.

I agree with Syd, he is telling the world he has one special Mom.

I love my son so much. This just really gets me. He didn't give me anything for Mother's Day last week, not even a card, so I was hurt but not mad and tried to understand he's going through a hard time and not to expect much....but this, THIS, is amazing to me after years of hearing how he would NEVER do it (I teased him all the time...when are you going to have MOM tattooed on your arm?)

That's awesome Barbara. I am so very, very happy for you. Regardless of the problems and issues, he knows how very much you love him :)
When my daughter turned 18 she had my initials tattooed on the inside of her wrist in big letters. At the time she said that I would always be with her that way. Made me cry too.
I've got a big smile on my face right now!

That is beautiful and amazing - and wow - what an honor!!! Words can't express how awesome that is!!! :)
Random note: the flowers on the counter in the background - I have the same ones in my bedroom but without the handle! They must have been made by the same place!
God bless.
